Welcome to the Artists' Guild

WELCOME TO THE ARTISTS' GUILD

As a new member, you are automatically an "Associate Member".  This entitles you to:

  1. Enter all Open juried exhibitions open to all Guild Members.  Some of the exhibits are: Coral Springs Center for the Arts; Boca Festival Days Exhibit, and Boca Raton High School shows.  Some of these exhibitions have cash prizes.
  2. Attend and participate in Guild and special group meetings.
  3. Participate in committees of The Artists' Guild.
  4. Participate in our Artists' Guild Associate Profile Page website program.
  5. Hold an office on the Board of The Artists' Guild.
  6. Log into our website: www.bocaguild.com  and create your own password, profile page, blog, etc.
  7. Participate in The Artists' Guild Gallery with limited benefits until you achieve Signature Level status.

You may apply for "Signature Member" status 90 days after you joined The Artists' Guild.  In addition to the above, Signature Members may:

  1. Participate in the Guild's Small Exhibitions Program held throughout the local area.
  2. Participate in our Artists' Guild Signature Profiles Page website program.
  3. Participate in specially organized Artists' Guild exhibitions, which are limited to Signature Members.
  4. Signature Members who have paid the annual gallery non-refundable participation donation are also eligible to enter shows in "The Artists' Guild Gallery".  The participation donation is based upon our fiscal year.  It is due by October 15th each year and is NOT pro-rated for members who only participate for part of the year.  (Please note that when you enter shows in the Guild Gallery, in Delray Beach, you commit to a set number of staffing shifts per lease year in the gallery whether or not you enter a specific show or your main entry artwork is selected by the juror for display in the show - all artists can enter two main entries that are juried for the main gallery and two artist choice entries that are not juried and will be placed in the "Artist Choice Gallery" room).

To become a Signature Member, you must be a member of the Museum and an Associate Member of The Artists' Guild at least 90 days to be eligible. This 90-day period is required so that you can learn how the Guild conducts its juried exhibitions, our standards of presentation and exhibition rules and get a feel for the caliber of work/conduct expected of our members.

The ONLY way in which you can be elevated to Signature Member status is through our Signature Member jurying program. Once you are an Associate Member for 90 days or more, please email Roni DiSabello at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , to be scheduled for the next jurying session.  We jury several times a year, each jurying is limited to the first 30 applicants. The sessions are on our website under becoming a Signature Member and on our Member News Calendar.  Jurying requires that you submit a body of four (4) pieces of your work, completed within the past 2 years and professionally presented for display.  All jurying is done by outside jurors.  You will be notified in writing of the juror's decision.

All members staffing the Guild Gallery must have gallery training (which can now be done "on-the job") and are required to follow the gallery procedures established by The Artists' Guild.  Associate and Signature Members who do NOT participate  may also receive training to volunteer to staff the center if they desire.

We look forward to meeting you at the next "Welcome Reception"!
